At Training Arc, we collect account information, payment details (via Stripe), and gameplay videos you upload so we can deliver coaching feedback and improve our AI, including future products. We may use anonymized and aggregated data for research, but we never sell your personal data. Your information may be stored outside Canada (e.g., US cloud providers). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your information (except data already incorporated into trained AI models) by contacting us at support@trainingarc.gg.

This Privacy Policy for GM Training Arc Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you:

  • Use our website at [trainingarc.gg] or any site linking to this policy.
  • Download and use our Windows application.
  • Upload gameplay videos for analysis.
  • Interact with us in related ways, including customer support or email.

By using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, as well as some information automatically:

  • Account Information: email, password, display name.
  • Payment Information: processed securely by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe); we do not store your full payment details.
  • Uploaded Content: gameplay videos you submit for analysis. These may include identifiers such as account names, in-game voices, or metadata.
  • Usage Data: device type, operating system, IP address, app performance data, and log files.
  • Cookies/Tracking Data: used on our website for analytics and performance.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of data (such as race, religion, or biometric identifiers).

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We process your personal information to:

  • Provide and operate the Services.
  • Analyze gameplay videos and deliver coaching feedback.
  • Improve, test, and train our AI/ML models, including for future products and commercial offerings.
  • Communicate with you about updates or support.
  • Ensure security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

We may also use anonymized and aggregated data for research and business purposes.

3. AI & MACHINE LEARNING

Training Arc uses machine learning and computer vision technologies to process gameplay videos. This processing may involve trusted third-party AI/ML service providers.

Your gameplay videos and personal data will only be used for:

  • Delivering feedback to you.
  • Internal research and development to improve our Services.
  • Training AI/ML models that may be incorporated into future commercial offerings.

We may share data with trusted service providers and partners who support these processes. We do not sell your data.

4. DATA SHARING

We may share personal information with:

  • Service Providers who help us operate the Services (e.g., hosting, payments, analytics, annotation).
  • Legal Authorities if required by law or to protect our rights.
  • Business Transfers if Training Arc is involved in a merger, sale, or acquisition.

We may share anonymized and aggregated data with trusted third parties, but never in a way that identifies individual users.

5. DATA STORAGE & TRANSFERS

Your data may be stored and processed outside Canada, including in the United States, through our cloud service providers. By using the Services, you consent to these cross-border transfers.

6. DATA RETENTION

We keep personal information as long as necessary for business, operational, or legal purposes. When no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize the data where feasible.

Uploaded gameplay videos may continue to be used in trained AI/ML models even after account deletion, as it is not possible to remove data already incorporated into model outputs.

7. MINORS

The Services are not available to children under 13. Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction must have parental or guardian consent to use the Services. Where applicable law requires a higher minimum age for consent (such as 16 in certain jurisdictions), that higher age requirement applies.

If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Under Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA), and where applicable under other privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal information.
  • Request corrections or updates.
  • Request deletion of your information (subject to data already used in trained AI/ML models).
  • Withdraw consent for processing.

9. SECURITY

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be indicated by the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
